We are currently looking for Network Designer who work with evolving technology and tools for multiple Telecom companies
The Role:
• Timely delivery of high-level multi-technology area plans and detailed designs
• Ensuring plans and detailed designs created meet defined quality standards
• Actively seeking feedback from senior designers and providing recommendations on planning and design procedure improvement.
• Provide high quality, cost effective design solutions for the design and build of the MTM high speed broadband network
• Timely delivery of high-level multi-technology area plans and detailed designs
• Ensuring plans and detailed designs created meet defined quality standards
• Collaborative, ‘can do’ attitude with a positive and enthusiastic personality.
• Developing network requirements, technical designs and specifications for the project implementation.
• Ensuring QA, OH&S and business systems development on customer projects
• Ensure follow up and full resolution of all issues and ensure answers are properly communicated.
• Design the customer network to reduce customer and O&M impact
• Comply with policies of company in place from time to time
Required Skills and experience
To be successful in this position, you need to have technical knowledge in fiber and copper architecture and some skill on Auto-cad. You will also be able to demonstrate strength in the following competencies:
• Ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Quality focus with strong attention to detail
• Independent problem solving
• Great interpersonal skills and the capability of building strong relationships with customers
• Experience on AutoCAD, GIS, MS Office.
• Must have some AutoCAD skills.
• Must have MS word and MS Excel knowledge.
• Some ideas about GIS tools (i.e. MapInfo) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to grasp complex ideas and communicate effectively.
• Willing to learn new technology and tools.
• Comfortable with working in a team environment
Educational Requirements:
• Bsc Engineering from any disciplines from any reputed University.
Experience Requirements
N/A.(1/2 years of experience in relevant field will be an added advantage.)
