👉 Position: Head of Accounts & HR
👉 Responsibilities:
1. Financial planning, economic strategy and forecasting
• Identify which models are making the most money for the company and how this information can best be used to improve the company in the future.
• Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Assist in the capital request and the company’s budget and forecast process, annual and quarterly forecasting.
• Address to carry out the issuing of any debt, managing investments, and assist to the supervisor or CTBD Management for other liquidity-related decisions.
• Manage the daily financial and operational activities including resource planning, sponsor funding, award funding allocations, budget control, accounting, purchasing, allocation of resources, management of expenditures, financial reporting.
2. Report Generating and Problem Solving for Process Improvement:
• Presenting and reporting accurate and timely historical financial information of the company.
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
• Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Develop a report to address the problems/concerns for CTBD Accounts department and management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
3. Management of financial risks
• Oversees the capital structure of the company, determining the best mix of debt, equity and internal financing and addressing the issues surrounding capital structure.
• Return on Investment: help earn the company earn the highest possible risk-adjusted return on assets and return on capital (or return on equity).
• Report risk issues to the audit committee of the CTBD Management.
4. Statistical and Financial Data Analyzing:
• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) by collecting, monitoring and creating financial.
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
5. Operations Management:
• Oversee activities of the operations department and ensure of completion of projects on time within budget and within the scope to ensure better performance.
• Responsible for all departments and day to day operations within the Branch.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
• Identify and continuous process improvement initiative to improve services efficiency and automation suggestions which has impacted revenue growth and project deliverables and can be replicated in other processes.
• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; identify trends.
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
6. Administrative:
• Developing, reviewing, and improving CTBD’s administrative systems, policies and procedures.
• Lead the team for ensuring the office stock with necessary supplies and all equipment is working and properly maintained also day-to-day operations of the administrative team and staff members.
7. Human Resources:
• Update and supervise the HR team for the recruitment process and design new procedures.
• Keep track of recruitment such as hiring deadline, cost per hire and forecast future hiring needs.
• Advise hiring team on interviewing techniques and improve CTBD employer brand. i.e: Job fair or career events.
• Assess employee’s training needs, oversee and approve training budgets as well evaluate training.
• Build KPI structures and implement performance review procedures (i.e. monthly/quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations)
• Supervise the HR team about changes in regulations and develop policy amendments.
• Review and update all types of employment contracts and agreements as per changes. I.e: appointment letters, contract papers, etc.
• Monitor and lead overall HR operations.
👉 Requirements:
A. Educational:
• MS degree or MBA in Finance/Accounts.
• Proficient in Google spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications (e.g. QuickBooks, XERO, CRM, Tally). Certified candidate will get preference.
• ACCA/ CA course completed will get additional preference.
B. Experience:
• Proven working experience as a Head of Accounts for minimum 7-8 years.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
C. Aptitude:
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
• Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
Salary: Negotiable
