Backpack is looking for Operations Executive (India)

Backpack’s mission is giving people access to products from around the world. To do that we built world’s first international p2p logistics network that delivers unparalleled customer experience. Two of the newest additions to our platform are India as an origin country and third party partners as service providers to expand our scope. This operations executive role would sit at the conjunction of these 2 new additions and we’re looking for someone who’s a great problem-solver, can manage multiple stakeholders, cares about our customers, and ultimately would be able to develop these new initiatives into a scalable, essential part of Backpack’s operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Whatever it takes to make India operations a success. Responsibilities would include
• Identifying where the India operation is breaking and collaborating with team members to find short and long term solutions to operational and customer experience issues
• Communicating with colleagues and partners to ensure smooth operation
• Developing processes to scale operations with minimal problems
• Create new and maintain existing 3PL partner relationships
• Thinking from customers perspective and coming with ideas to take India operations to the next level

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

• We are looking for someone who’s a solid, trusted contributor. Someone who may require support but highly self directed. Someone who has the ability to build processes for others, who contributes to overall team culture, and exhibits very strong leadership in project ownership.
